Many of you who are thinking about moving from bottles to Corney Kegging have been asking about which replacement O-rings should be used. If you do buy corney kegs from eBay auctions or homebrew shops they will usually be pressure tested but will have O-rings that smell like soda pop. Those O-rings should be thrown away.

I have found that McMaster-Carr[/u] is a great source for obtaining SILICONE O-rings, in bulk, at a great price. I prefer silicone as they still remain pliable when at lower temperatures. It’s probably overkill, but what the heck!

Below, I’ve listed the McMaster-Carr part numbers:
      1. Lid O-Ring (qty 5)– 9396K926
      2. Dip tube (qty 100) –9396K74
      3. Posts (qty 100)–9396K24
