      I was frying some onions for dinner today. I love it when they get all carmelly and sweet. I thought what if I carmelize onions and add this to my mash? Has anyone done this? Onions seem to go good with everything, why not beer?:P

      I think I would have to try it before I attempted to brew it. If I did I would keep the onions to a minimum and use a smoked grain for part of my base malt.

      My thoughts exactly. I was thinking to use the onions to add a little flavor to my base malt.
