It is difficult to keep track of ALL the craft beer events happening in the area as well as around Indiana and Michigan. This list will also feature events that anyone can attend, not just events that MEGA is invited to participate in.

    Kalamazoo Beer Week

Kalamazoo Beer Week, known fondly as KBW, is all about building a relationship with craft beer. Some of us already share this passion: an affinity for hand-crafted products, made by people who care about an enriching brew experience and carefully fashioned flavor profiles. But some are newer to their understanding of how amazing craft beer can be.

Kalamazoo Beer Week is a weeklong series of events that support the craft beer experience through special tastings, dinners, and interactive events. Patrons will meet the brewers themselves, learn about what it takes to develop these kinds of intricate, highly desired products, and hopefully achieve a greater sense of this market segment that has taken hold of beer drinkers everywhere.

KBW 2014 was one for the record books. We hosted over 200 events in an 8-day period, survived a Polar Vortex and debuted the lovable Kalamazoo Beer mascot. Just when we think we can’t possibly have any more fun, we prove ourselves wrong. Make plans now to join us for KBW 2015 – you’ll be happy you did.

This is an old thread, hope you don’t mind me reviving it here. The new City-Wide Liquors on E LaSalle (really nice place if you haven’t visited) is hosting Misbeehavin’ Meads for a tasting on April 19 at 5pm. I’ll be there, probably closer to 5. I love mead, and I want to support the closest meaderies to South Bend (I believe that is Misbeehavin’, Boneflower, and Manic out of Chicago or somewhere around there).
